It’s been a bad new year for Wikipedia, and it’s probably just going to get worse.
While watching such a noble experiment come apart at the seams is depressing, it seems there’s a pretty valuable lesson here:

Interesting that notion of Wikipedias downhill seems to be quite common these days. I wrote couple of months ago about how the atmosphere on the Finnish wikipedia has been deteriorating for the past year or so.
Sad, really. I love Wikipedia. Or at least I used to.
